Mr Adeniyi told the court that the defendants committed the offences on January 9 at about 2.30 p.m. in Ado-Ekiti.
The prosecutor said that the offence contravened Section 302(1)(a) of the Criminal Law of Ekiti State, 2021.
The defendants, of no fixed addresses, were arraigned on a charge of stealing.
Mr Adeniyi alleged that the defendants unlawfully grazed their cattle on a restricted land by government.
”When the suspect got to the farm, he called the victim to bring the chemical to the site. On getting to the farm, he raped her,” the prosecutor said.
Counsels to the first defendant, Gboyega Abiola, and the second defendant, Femi Olarewaju, urged the court to grant them bail. They promised that the defendants would not jump bail.
The prosecutor said the defendant assaulted his wife, Blessing Nwakedi, by hitting her right leg with his against the bed.
The defendants, of unknown addresses, are facing a two-count charge of burglary and stealing.
