The police command in Ondo says it has arrested three people over alleged child marriage in Idoani, Ose LGA.
The command’s spokesperson said the corpse, which the police have since removed, has been identified as Precious Yusuf, a 23-year-old lady.
The motive behind the man’s killing was unclear, but it was gathered that he was involved in cult-related activities.
The suspect offered the police officers who arrested him a N1 million bribe, which was rejected, police spokesman Abimbola Oyeyemi said.
