The police command in Ondo has commenced a manhunt for suspected kidnappers who abducted a nine-year-old boy at Ugbosi Quarters, Idogun in Ose LGA.
Mr Jimoh said the rescue followed a distress report received by the command.
Mr Jimoh reiterated the command’s zero tolerance to cultism and all forms of violent crimes in the state.
The police spokesperson said that the suspects were in a Toyota Hummer 18-seater commercial bus travelling from Lagos to Abuja when arrested.
“This proactive measure is in strict compliance with the directive of the Inspector General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu,” said Mr Jimoh.
