He urged the public to cooperate fully with the directive.
The Kaduna Police Command says its operatives have rescued three kidnapped minors and nabbed three suspects.
Mr Hassan said, “On interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime and pleaded for leniency.”
He explained that the suspect was a notorious bandit leader who terrorised Kaduna and Katsina States
The CP promised the residents a peaceful Kaduna State.
Mr Hassan said the arrest of the suspects followed the commissioner of police’s directive to flush out criminal elements in the state.
“It was to the effect that sand had caved in at a local block site, resulting in the deaths of 11 individuals, with several others sustaining injuries,” the officer stated.
He said investigations were ongoing to apprehend the fleeing suspects.
He urged the public to continue supporting the police with credible and timely information.
“The command wishes all Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration,” Mr Hassan added.
