The customs officer said the 400 bags of beans have since been deposited in the government’s warehouse for safekeeping and eventual sale to the public.
He added that under the watch of the outgoing comptroller, the command also generated N225,009,835.50 as revenue and made 1,479 seizures.
The controller said the command also seized 157 tablets of Heineken ecstasy and 864 packs of cigarettes.
The customs boss said the seizures were made from different locations across Ogun and were mainly intelligence-driven.

The controller disclosed that officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Kaduna state command had tested the seized substances.
