Mr Adamu said the outstanding issues include non-payment of five years’ promotion arrears for academic staff, covering the period from 2018 to 2024.
The Kaduna State University chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities suspended its strike on February 18.
ASUU had charged the government with a two-week deadline to address all outstanding demands by the union.
The lecturers said the management of BSU had refused to address the welfare concerns of the union after a series of engagements.
In a statement on Saturday, the management of the varsity urged journalists to always verify their stories before publication.
The government has insisted that generous offers were made to the university union, accusing its leaders of exhibiting selfishness at a protracted detriment to university students.
The planned strike is over the non-payment of Earned Academic Allowance (EAA) of its members amounting to N911 million.
