While delivering the judgment, the judge convicted Mr Nojim based on the evidence before the court and the guilty plea.
Mr Obiorah, who later became deputy governor, said the CBN board first heard of the naira redesign policy on December 15, 2022.
The judge noted that he didn’t believe the defendant regretted his action because he lied to the court.
The duo pleaded not guilty to the charge.
