Anambra, Ebonyi and Adamawa states announced their decisions to withdraw their suits.

The ex-AGF and Mr Nweke, a former deputy director in the Ministry of Defence, are being prosecuted for alleged N1.6 billion money laundering offences.

The commission said that the suspects were arrested in a sting operation following credible intelligence on their fraudulent internet activities.
The 16 states said they are relying on the fact that the constitution is the supreme law and any law inconsistent with it is a nullity.
He also urged the electoral body to be fair and transparent, ensuring that the votes of the electorate count.
Victor Umeh (LP-Anambra), who supported the bill, said it was a well-thought-out bill to fill the gaps left by the EFCC, ICPC, and other security agencies.
The EFCC said that the suspects would soon be charged to court.
Meanwhile, Mr Akugbo described the visit as necessary to strengthen the existing collaboration between the SSS and the EFCC.
