Governor Francis Nwifuru has urged Muslims to use the occasion of the Eid-el-Fitr to pray for tolerance and the success of the 2027 elections.
The president and his wife, Remi Tinubu, landed at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 1:15 a.m.
Mr Mohammed urged citizens to sustain the moral lessons of Ramadan, including patience, charity, humility, and kindness.
Mr Tinubu also tasked Muslim leaders to use the occasion to offer prayers for peace and prosperity.
Mr Tinubu called on Muslims to reflect on the spiritual lessons of Ramadan.
He called on military personnel to sustain the virtues of godliness, honesty and tolerance.Â

Ms Mayegun urged residents of Lagos State to carry the values beyond the festive period and continue supporting law enforcement agencies in maintaining public safety and order.
She added that the enhanced security architecture was backed by a strengthened intelligence network.
