FCID felicitates Muslims on eid-el-fitr, urges security vigilance

The Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Lagos, has extended warm greetings to Muslims on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The FCID’s spokesperson, ASP Aminat Mayegun, conveyed the message in a statement on Thursday in Lagos.
According to her, Ramadan embodies values such as sacrifice, discipline, compassion, and devotion.
“These virtues are essential in fostering peace, unity, and mutual respect within society,” she said.
Ms Mayegun urged residents of Lagos State to carry the values beyond the festive period and continue supporting law enforcement agencies in maintaining public safety and order.
Reaffirming the department’s commitment to security, she assured the public of its readiness to safeguard lives and property before, during, and after the celebrations.
She also called on residents to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station or through official communication channels.
The spokesperson wished all Muslims a peaceful, joyful, and fulfilling Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
