NERC recently approved N28 billion for the DisCos to procure and install meters for unmetered Band ‘A’ and ‘B’ customers within their franchise areas.
The report said that Abuja and Jos had the most significant declines across the quarters.
The sanctioned Discos are Abuja, Eko, Enugu, Ikeja, Jos, Kaduna, Kano, and Yola.
The commission pointed out that it began the transfer of regulatory oversights to 10 states on January 10.
He added that the minister inspected the bridges on Saturday alongside some directors in the ministry and contractors.
The federal government has set a new deadline of July 15 to complete repairs and reopen Eko and Apongbon bridges to traffic.
About 27.3 percentage of the state’s 2023 budget amounts to N482.86 billion.
