Mr Sanusi urged the public to intensify prayers for peaceful coexistence in Kano State and the nation.
”The police will continue to provide necessary security to ensure that will enable residents to observe their Friday congressional prayers peacefully,” Mr Gumel said.
“We caution student groups against being manipulated by troublemakers.’’
The protesters are demanding the return of the dethroned Mr Bayero as emir.
Despite the Emir of Kano tussle, residents are going about their normal businesses peacefully.
Mr Musa-Rafsanjani said the developments could plunge the state into chaos and anarchy.
Mr Yusuf said, “Sanusi is a victim of the immediate past administration, who is now being restored to his rightful position to lead the people.”
Several operatives of the State Security Service (SSS) have been to the palace of the Emir of Kano amid the sacking of four emirs in the state.
Mr Ado-Bayero also advised wealthy Nigerians to help the less privileged during Ramadan.
The emir stressed the importance of enlightenment and community engagement in curbing breaches.
