The chairman said the council would employ health personnel to provide healthcare services to the elderly aged 60 and above.
Mr Odo described the initiative as a coordinated framework.
The council boss noted that with the demarcation exercise, his administration had successfully resolved the issue amicably.

“The purpose of this programme is to boost the average life expectancy of our people from 54 years to 70 years and above,” the chairman said.

In his remarks, the Igbo-Etiti legislative council leader, Stephen Okwu, commended his colleagues for the speedy attention given to the budget.
He said his administration would tackle issues of sexual abuse, human trafficking, drug trafficking and gender-based violence.
