Ezekiel SonAllah, the FRSC sector commander in Ondo, gave this counsel while speaking with journalists on Saturday in Akure, the state capital.
He said that two male adults and one female child died in the accident.
The sector commander said that the goal of the corps was to reduce road traffic crashes.
FRSC vows to punish any driver caught driving an overloaded vehicle.
Mr SonAllah explained that the reduction in road traffic crashes was achieved through enlightenment and advocacy programmes.
FRSC said the accident involved a Man-Diesel truck and one Toyota Sienna marked FFN-310 PU.
The accident, which occurred on Friday evening at Olokuta area on the Akure-Ondo road, involved six male adults and one female adult.
“Three children died, and we have counted over 15 bodies. A pregnant woman that wanted to buy the fuel also died. The money is still with her.”
Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says it arrested no fewer than 243 motorists without driver’s licences within one month in Ondo.
The FRSC in Ondo says it has deployed sufficient men and materials to ensure road safety during the sallah celebration.
