Ezekiel SonAllah, the state sector commander of FRSC, made the call on Monday in Akure during a public enlightenment to mark the West Africa Road Safety Organisation (WARSO) Day.
According to him, the personnel would man all accident-prone locations on highways in the state.
Fatigue is one of the problems that contribute to the road traffic crashes on the highway, said the Road Safety chief.
The Ondo State Command of the FRSC has told its officers to redouble their commitment to public enlightenment and education to reduce crashes on highways.
Mr SonAllah explained that the accident involved 30 people, including 20 male adults, nine female adults and one female child.
The FRSC sector commander in Ondo state, Mr SonAllah, said “Whoever violates traffic rules and is convicted will be taken to prison.”
The state commander said they would ensure only registered vehicles ply the road in Ogun.
