Ms Oluwatobi told The Gazette that the demonstration was caused by several displeasing policies and actions by the university management.
Mr Wike stated that he was educated in character and learning at the university and called on all alumni to give back to the university as a mark of gratitude.
On March 6, the judge dismissed Messrs Ndifon and Anyanwu’s no-case submission.
Mr Omotosho, therefore, ordered Mr Ndifon and Mr Anyanwu to enter their defence.
The adjournment did not go well with Solomon Umoh, SAN, who appeared for Mr Ndifon and Sunny Anyanwu, the co-defendant.
“The veracity of the allegation will be known upon completion of the investigation,” the university said.
Mr Ndifon was arrested on October 4 by the SSS after shunning several invitations.
The minister received the report of a committee that examined allegations of sexual harassment by Cyril Ndifo of the Faculty of Law, University of Calabar.
The suspended law professor explained that he dragged the VC and others to court to remove his name from the allegations against him.
“You are to stay away from the University premises except while responding to invitation from the panel investigating these allegations.”
