Soldiers wounded in action are being supported with wheelchairs, prosthetics and special vocational training to hasten their recovery.

The Chief of Army Staff said the soldiers would be posted to various theatre operations to tame incessant insecurity bedeviling the country.
The COAS stressed that no personnel would be allowed to participate in the elections or support any candidate as stipulated by the extant laws guarding the service.
The military chief also charged field commanders to redouble efforts in ongoing operations and achieve results.
The Chief of Army Staff said he was “very impressed with the commitment and zeal” of the soldiers.
The army said troops sent to fight Boko Haram terrorists were privileged above their “colleagues outside the region.”
The centre would serve as a command post, situation room, and operational briefing center for the army.
The COAS advised the officers to ensure that the goals of the exercise were not compromised.
“If their (insurgents) activities are denied media publicity, fifty percent of the military’s job would have been done.”
