The director of Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye, said the inferno, which happened at about 12:39 p.m., was later controlled by emergency responders.
The governor alleged that Bayelsa is marginalised in several federal agencies where the quota system is used as a criterion for employment.

Those affected by the ban on the use of camouflage are the Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, and Federal Fire Service, among others.
The NSA stressed that the need to enforce the ban followed the rise in the use of camouflage outfits to launch deadly attacks on communities.
The Federal Fire Service, Kaduna command, has blamed negligence and poor electrification for the fire incident at the Panteka wood market.
Mr Sabo appealed to residents to always use the 112 emergency toll-free number in the event of any disaster or emergency situation.
