The NAFDAC boss warned that AMR leads to treatment failures, prolonged illnesses, higher mortality rates, and increased risks during medical procedures.
Ms Akujobi assured that the President Bola Tinubu-led administration remains committed and determined to eradicate rabies with the One-Health approach.
“This workshop falls squarely within the scope of sub-component three of the L-PRES Project Appraisal Document, which focuses on animal health services,” he said.
