The Federal Ministry of Works says it has executed over 70 road projects in Kano in the last two years.
Mr Tinubu directed the Federal Ministry of Works to convene a meeting with relevant stakeholders to develop lasting solutions to the recurrent flooding in Lagos.
Mr Onuigbo expressed gratitude to the Tinubu-led administration for showing interest in the project’s completion.
The minister said the Federal Ministry of Works would support the police with fuel and allowances to strengthen patrol operations on the route.
The rehabilitation will begin on February 11 (Wednesday) and end on March 11, 2026.
The federal government has restated its determination to rebuild road infrastructure in the North-West region of Nigeria.

The minister apologised to all road users on the Abuja-Lokoja expressway to bear with the ministry.

Mr Umahi directed the immediate mobilisation of additional equipment and personnel to accelerate the project.
