The NDLEA said that a thorough search of his luggage led to the recovery of 14 towels and shirts soaked in liquid cocaine, dried and well ironed.
The NDLEA intercepted large consignments of illicit drugs in Kano, Kwara, Delta, Gombe, Lagos, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
NDLEA says the erosion of societal values, greed, economic challenges, peer influence and family background are factors driving the involvement of women in drug trafficking.
Mr Babafemi encouraged women to uphold positive values and reject influences capable of undermining their roles in society.
“At Uyosa, Benin City, two female suspects were nabbed with a cocktail of illicit substances, including 176 grams of skunk, 65g of loud, and five grams of methamphetamine,” he said.
He said the drugs were mainly ketamine, weighing three kilograms and 199 grams of ecstasy pills.
The chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Buba Marwa, has paid a get-well visit to two wounded officers at the National Hospital in Abuja.
The suspect travelled from Malaysia to Thailand and subsequently to Nigeria through the UAE.
He said the opioids included pentazocine and promethazine injections, and tramadol capsules.
Two Mercedes-Benz buses and various designer sachets used for packaging drugs for retail distribution were also recovered.
