Two Mercedes-Benz buses and various designer sachets used for packaging drugs for retail distribution were also recovered.
Mr Babafemi said the arrest followed credible intelligence.
The NDLEA chairman commended the Nigerian judiciary for its steadfast support.
Mr Marwa said, “Whether they hide behind legitimate businesses, religious titles, or complex concealment methods, we will find them.”
A statement by the NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, on Sunday said the consignment was concealed in the heads of imported dry stockfish.
Mr Babafemi said that two suspects were also arrested same day on the 3rd Mainland bridge, conveying 8,380 bottles of same substance.
The suspect claimed he was travelling to London, United Kingdom for vacation.
Mr Babafemi said that the suspect nabbed after 13 years in hiding was arrested by the NDLEA Operatives at the Lagos airport.
Mr Babafemi said that the suspect concealed the pills of tramadol in her luggage.
NDLEA boss Buba Marwa has said that the National Drug Control Master Plan (NDCMP 2026-2030) would strengthen Nigeria’s ongoing drug control efforts.
