In a statement in Abeokuta, Florence Okpe, the spokesperson of FRSC in Ogun, said the three accidents happened in the early hours of the day.
Five persons were confirmed dead in an accident on Fidiwo bridge on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Mr Okpe said the accident was caused by route violation and speeding.
The injured victims were taken to Victory Hospital at Ogere, while the corpses were deposited at the FOS Morgue in Ipara.
Ms Okpe explained that the accident occurred at 11:40 a.m. and was caused by excessive speed on the driver’s part, leading to loss of control.
Four people lost their lives in a lone crash that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday around the Sandcrate area on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Ms Okpe said the accident resulted from overspeeding, which led to the vehicle losing control.
A lone car crash around Isara Remo, along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, has killed two children.
The FRSC confirmed the lone accident involving a Toyota bus carrying eight persons.
She attributed the accident to speeding and wrongful overtaking.
