The crash involved a Chevrolet SUV marked WWW 75 MW and a truck with registration number SRA 584 XB.
Ms Okpe said the accident occurred at 2:38 p.m., attributing it to speeding and loss of control.
She stated that the accident was caused by speeding which led to loss of control on the part of the driver of the bus.
Mrs Okpe said that traffic had been diverted to an alternative route
Eight persons were involved in the accident, but two escaped unhurt.
The FRSC spokesperson said 14 people were involved in the accident.
On Monday, four persons were killed on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway when a luxury bus rammed into a truck.
The accident involved a DAF truck, a Toyota bus and a Mitsubishi pickup van and was caused by excessive speeding, tyre blowout, and loss of control.
“The fatal crash was caused by excessive speed and wrongful overtaking on the part of the Toyota driver and then rammed into a moving truck,” she said.
Mrs Okpe attributed the cause of the accident to excessive speed on the part of the Sienna driver.
