Former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has urged 206 foreign-trained newly inducted Nigerian nurses to apply knowledge acquired abroad to strengthen Nigeria’s health sector.
The trial has suffered multiple adjournments on similar grounds.
Governor Abba Kabir-Yusuf made the declaration during the formal presentation of letters of admission to the 250 new students on Thursday in Kura.
“It is not the fault of herders and farmers that this crisis has persisted. It is the fault of the leadership who failed to find immediate solutions to solve their problems.”
According to him, the institutes will be optimally used to address drug addictions and thuggery, posing serious concern to state residents.
“All the cases that people thought would be swept under the carpet will be revisited by God’s grace.”
