The Federal High Court, Abuja Division, has declared former President Goodluck Jonathan is eligible to contest in the 2027 presidential election.
“As we approach the next election, there is a strong gang-up against us. They are plotting to field several candidates from our region in the South,” said Mr Osoba.
Mr Jonathan called for a partnership between governments, the media, security personnel, civil society organisations, and the diplomatic community.
“This is the way to know whether everything you have said or declared is the truth and if you can answer questions posed about your commitment to building a united, secure and prosperous Nigeria,”
Mr Jonathan earlier said he would commence consultations concerning the possibility of contesting presidency in 2027.
The plaintiff and INEC did not appear in court for the second consecutive time.
A lawyer, Johnmary Jideobi, had filed the case, asking the court to bar Mr Jonathan from contesting in the 2027 poll.
Mr Jonathan said, “The presidential race is not a computer game, but I heard you, and I will consult widely.”
Mr Yuguda stated that said Mr Jonathan’s leadership style was deliberate rather than dramatic.
He dismissed speculations that the 2027 general election results could be written in favour of the APC.
