Mr Netanyahu condemned Mr Macron’s decision to recognise Palestinian statehood, calling it a reward for terror in the aftermath of the attack on Israel by Hamas.
The Scottish National Party has urged the UK government to “stop the excuses” and follow other European countries in recognising the state of Palestine.
