On Tuesday, port authorities said another 23 ships had arrived and were also discharging petrol and others.
The ships were expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex laden with petroleum products, food items and others.
The authority said that 26 other ships were expected to arrive at the port between March 23 to April 10.
Other items that the ships contain includes general cargo, bulk sugar, base oil, bulk wheat, bulk urea, petrol, frozen fish, and ethanol.
25 ships are already discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, container, bulk salt, butane gas, bulk fertilizer,trucks, frozen fish, fuel and sugar.
The NPA said it was expecting another 24 ships carrying food commodities and fuels.
