Swipha Pharma Nigeria Ltd. has donated anti-malarial drugs worth N500,000 to the Kano State Drugs and Medical Consumables Supply Agency to support healthcare delivery.
The two-day meeting, which was supported by the UK-FCDO Lafiya Programme, was held from November 7 to 8 in Kano.
“Years ago, if 10 drugs were prescribed to patients, they would only get three. Now, patients can at least get nine out of 10,” said DMCSA chief.
Mr Sule said the gesture would add value to the supply chain.
Mr Sule said that some health workers divert commodities, particularly drugs and consumables.
A task force on counterfeit drugs met with members of Kano NUJ on Saturday.
