He said, “The ministry will refund such allottees and reallocate the housing units to other residents who are ready to put the houses to use immediately.”
According to him, the commitment is evident in the ongoing LagosHOMS project.
He urged parents to show understanding for the sake of the children.
Mr Lawal said that the Commissioner for Education, Folashade Adefisayo, had reassured the public that the matter would be dealt with within the scope of the ministry’s strict regulations.
“Chrisland High School, Ikeja, will remain temporarily closed to students and staff.”
