Queues had built up in many petrol stations in the Lugbe district of Abuja, with many also selling fuel at N617 per litre.
The ship and its stolen merchandise, bound for Cameroon, were seized by a private security contractor off the Nigerian coast on Friday.
NNPC said that the increase was “in line with current market realities” and that “prices will continue to fluctuate to reflect market dynamics.”
The NNPCL said operations had resumed at the depots and trucks were being dispatched to various parts of the country.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation( NNPC) says it will make a public announcement when it is ready to recruit new workers.
