The commitment became imperative following mutual suspicion between herders and members of their host communities.
The chairman urged state governments, traditional and religious leaders and opinion leaders not to relent in their advocacy for peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.
The group called on the government at every levels to reduce the vast population of Nigerians living in poverty.
The group said they were confident Mr Soludo would provide adequate protection for herders in the state.
Miyetti Allah Southeast Chairman, Gidado Siddiki, said 10 herdsmen were kidnapped and 300 cows rustled.
