The British deputy high commissioner to Nigeria, Gill Atkinson, made the pledge during a courtesy visit to the Borno Government House in Maiduguri.
So far, 47 disabled Nigerians are said to have benefitted from the programme since 2014 when the UK government began including PWDs as beneficiaries.
The lawmaker said Nigeria needs leaders who can adapt to the changing global landscape.
The UK government has awarded Nigerians with disabilities Chevening scholarships.
“All Nigerians have the right to freedom of speech and the responsibility not to misuse that right.”
