The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, congratulated the nominee on the new elevation and commended the committee for a job well done.
Mr Tinubu said that the proposed amendments were to strengthen institutional capacity, efficiency and effectiveness of the appellate court.
Mr Tinubu said the bills would improve efficiency, effectiveness, and service delivery within the sector.
Mr Akpabio stated that the match against the Pharaoh’s of Egypt was a testament to the team’s skills and determination.
The prosecution counsel did not oppose to the application made by the defence counsel for the matter to be struck out.
Mr Akpabio said he had filed nearly nine suits against individuals he accused of defaming him.
