Mr Asemakaha said particular attention would be given to youths and women venturing into entrepreneurship.
He said more industries were coming up with health facilities across the state.
Mr Agada warned that if urgent intervention was not provided, the situation could worsen.
He appealed to Benue residents to support security personnel to succeed.
According to him, more than 390 kilometres of roads are currently under construction across the state.
He said that Mr Yilwatda had exhibited an unwavering dedication, visionary leadership, and an unflinching commitment to the strategic advancement of the country.
He urged the governor to publicly and firmly engage the federal government over the killings.
The governor appealed to those protesting over security challenges to remain calm.
“We will resist any attempt to attack any police formation in Nigeria,” he said.
He also promised to construct more roads within the federal constituency with time.
