He assured that only the best candidates would be employed.
“This was in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 19 (Cap 28) Law of Oyo State 2000 as amended,” the statement said.
He called on all stakeholders to support the project, saying its success depends on the collaboration.
He emphasised that his administration had delivered massive infrastructure, educational and health projects in the state
The union gave the Oyo government 21 days within which to start responding positively to all its demands.
He noted that the rejuvenation of the economy required collective efforts to free the masses from poverty.
“We call on the public to support initiatives aimed at ending this threat to innocent lives,” he said.
He also warned hoodlums who might want to take advantage of the incident to carry out any form of looting to desist.
“NCoS officials are processing the required paperwork to begin discharging the approved inmates immediately,” Mr Salami said.
A three-member panel of justices, in a unanimous judgement, condemned Mr Makinde’s conduct.
