Mr Aniagwu lauded Mr Oborevwori’s commitment to transparency and his open-door policy.
He reiterated that all road projects awarded by the state government were expected to last for 20 years.
He said the scholarship programme would benefit 628 children of deceased civil servants from over 200 families and 60 students living with disabilities.
He also acknowledged the struggles many Nigerians face due to inflation and economic reforms.
“I assure our people that this year will be better than last year,” Mr Oborevwori said.
“The current economic situation in our country has made it imperative for us to be supportive of one another.”
The board is expected to be in Bayelsa on Friday in continuation of its assignment.
He said that partnering with the media would help to disseminate correct information to the public.
“The governor has resolved to make sure that he does everything humanly possible to put smiles on the faces of the people.”
The celebration followed the Supreme Court verdict of Friday in Abuja that affirmed Mr Oborevwori’s victory.
