He also acknowledged the struggles many Nigerians face due to inflation and economic reforms.
“I assure our people that this year will be better than last year,” Mr Oborevwori said.
“The current economic situation in our country has made it imperative for us to be supportive of one another.”
The board is expected to be in Bayelsa on Friday in continuation of its assignment.
He said that partnering with the media would help to disseminate correct information to the public.
“The governor has resolved to make sure that he does everything humanly possible to put smiles on the faces of the people.”
The celebration followed the Supreme Court verdict of Friday in Abuja that affirmed Mr Oborevwori’s victory.
“This victory is not about me but about the people of Delta.”
“Having now received the Supreme Court’s seal of approval, I must wish you well as a democrat.”
“At this stage of preliminaries, we are trying to identify the areas of leakages and the likely causes and what has made it possible.”
