Mr Anyaehie served as Deputy Provost, College of Medicine University of Nigeria between 2018 and 2022.
The council asked Ms Iorchir to hand over the stitution’s property and dentity card to the Chief Security Officer.
Mr Gidado said the appointment would take effect from Wednesday, February 5, 2025.
The university said the promotions were approved during the council’s 98th regular meeting on December 10, 11, 12 and 14.
Mr Bobola said, “The decision to reopen the university was made by the Senate at its meetings held on July 23 and 24, 2024.’’
“The congress unanimously resolved to suspend the strike so that the university administration will be able to look at the issues,” he said.
“We stand on the shoulders of these giants and their legacies.’’
Mr Obaseki congratulated the council on the milestone achievement.
The morality code of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, has banned pregnant students, babies and others from campus.
