Mr Sadare said Mr Omodewu died at 61 in the United States, where he had been receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness since November 2023.
He said politicians “should be sincere to know that the current federal arrangement is defective and requires serious restructuring.”
Mr Adeniran said the state executive council had approved the reinstatement of 129 officers wrongly dismissed by the previous administration.
The aspirant said the state party risked mass defection if the national leadership refused to act fast to address the crisis.
