Sokoto students have commended Governor Ahmed Aliyu for settling N3 billion in outstanding scholarship arrears inherited from the previous administration.
The declaration was announced in a statement on Monday by Sambo Junaidu, chairman of the Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs of the Sultanate Council.
Mr Muhammad described the governor’s performance as a strong foundation for financial prudence.
The aide said timely reporting of suspicious movements and cooperation with security agencies were critical in preventing threats and maintaining law and order.
Mr Shaibu disclosed that the Nigerian Army had executed over 250 similar projects nationwide, including schools, hospitals, and other community facilities.
He described Mr Ajose as a gallant officer.
The executive secretary thanked Governor Ahmed Aliyu for the opportunity to serve.
The governor disclosed that the proposal consisted of 72 per cent capital expenditure and 28 per cent recurrent expenditure.
He described the move as a demonstration of the administration’s commitment to improving the living standards of citizens.
Mr Ala noted that the administration of Governor Ahmed Aliyu was fully aware of the scale of the challenge.
