Mr Bagudu further described people of the state as hardworking and ready to imbibe modern methods on agriculture and livestock production.

Governor Atiku Bagudu on Monday paid a sympathy visit to families of victims of Saturday’s auto crash in which four people died in Kebbi.
Also in the meeting are Governors Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi and the president’s Chief of Staff, Ibrahim Gambari.
The president asked the supporters to “come out en masse and vote for the Tinubu/Shettima ticket on February 25 and you’ll never regret doing so.”
The governor told the military that the villages of Warkata, Kulgi, Maitaba, Dankolo, Makuku, Kabaro, Danlayi, and Dankande were all empty.
Governor Atiku Bagudu was summoned to appear before the house on January 27 to explain how he spent over the N18.7 billion loan approved by the house.
The governor “also granted an approval of N120.1 million to cover change of institution for Kebbi sponsored MBBS training from Sudan to Egypt.”
Mr Bagudu said that the state had been among the leading in the World Bank assisted States in Fiscal Transparency, Accountability, and Sustainability (SIFTAS) programme up to 2021.
Justice Umar Abubakar was sworn in by Governor Atiku Bagudu on Saturday in the state capital of Birnin Kebbi.
