The governments of Kebbi, Dossou (Niger Republic) and the Alibori department (of the Benin Republic) have signed validation documents on border cooperation.
Governor Atiku Bagudu has approved the deduction of three per cent of the basic salaries of civil servants to provide healthcare.
“I led a four-member committee to the National Assembly. We were first attended to by the House of Representatives, where we successfully presented our case.”
The money was used to purchase fertiliser for over 6,000 farmers across the state.
Currently, the APC has a total of 22 governors out of Nigeria’s 36 states.
“Take heart and bear with the situation as it is destined by the Almighty God,” said Governor Atiku Bagudu.
All the appointees were members of the recently dissolved State Executive Council (SEC).
Mr Bagudu spoke on Sunday when he addressed students of Government Girls Secondary School, Mahuta, headquarters of Fakai Local Government Area.
Curiously, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is the only high profile member of the party not listed in the lengthy list.
