Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno has approved N12.8 million assistance for 641 Borno indigenes who qualified for the final screening in the recruitment into the Nigerian Army.
Borno State Deputy Umar Kadafur gave the assurance during the inauguration of the 2021 NYSC Health Initiative for Rural Development (HIRD).

The governor made the discovery at a suprise midnight visit to to an IDP camp in Maiduguri.
The traditional ruler passed on on Saturday morning in Abuja of undisclosed ailments.
About 700 primary school teachers in Maiduguri Municipal Council were found with fake certificates.
Mr. Zulum, during his visit, was told that the death toll was yet to be fully ascertained.
The Borno governor’s motorcade was attacked on Friday.
