Mr Nwadialu, elected chairman in 2024, was sentenced Tuesday to five years in prison for his scheme to steal some $3.5 million via an online romance scam.
The Anambra government has disbursed N80 million to 80 startups as part of efforts to position the state as a leading technology and innovation hub in Nigeria.
The union said the gratuities, covering 2017 to 2020, amounted to N22 billion inherited from the previous administration in Anambra.
”The report of the screening exercise will be made open to the public in a timely manner,” said the Anambra assembly deputy speaker.
Some community elders and leaders made the appeal on Monday, when they took journalists on a tour of the lakes, including Isaa, Iwelle and Iwalaa fishing lakes.
They said the call became necessary to provide people in the state and its residents with a purposeful standard of living.
Governor Charles Soludo has directed that all markets and shops across the state should open for business, specifically on Mondays and all viable days.
The lawmaker said that most state laws are obsolete and need to be replaced with current laws that would bring sanity to the legal system.
The speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Somtochukwu Udeze, has described 2026 as a year of great and endless possibilities.
Mr Soludo made the commendation during the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Stream I Inter-platoon Cultural Carnival, held on Saturday at the NYSC Orientation Camp at Mbaukwu-Umuawulu.
