Mr Abiodun urged citizens to support the government’s initiatives to promote peace and unity in the country.
The governor, who disclosed this in his New Year broadcast on Thursday in Abeokuta, restated the need to rehabilitate and reintegrate deserving inmates into society.
“I want you to work closely with the Ijebu people towards the creation of the Ijebu state. We at the National Assembly will support you,” said Mr Akpabio.
