On Sunday, President Bola Tinubu congratulated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his re-election at Saturday’s Ondo State Governorship election.
According to the results of the governorship election, Mr Aiyedatiwa is winning in a landslide victory, with the figures emerging from the LGAs of the state.
Mr Aiyedatiwa said the remaining hours before the election should be used to intensify the mobilisation drive towards delivering victory for the party.
“I didn’t call for this, but I am grateful that my colleagues in the race have voluntarily identified with my mandate,” said Mr Aiyedatiwa.
Mr Obi noted that “democracy is suffering in Nigeria now,” accusing the APC of turning “democracy into transitional politics.”
Mr Ajulo, in a statement in Lagos, said the state’s future would be guaranteed if the people reelected Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi, who led the gathering of Ebira indigenes, said they were impressed with the level of development in the state under Mr Aiyedatiwa.
Mrs Alabi said, “I have decided to bring my supporters from the SDP to also join the winning train.’’
The road has claimed the lives of many students.
He said his administration had been changing the face of governance in the state.
