“It was confirmed that the bandits were shooting, rustling cattle, looting properties and committing other heinous crimes, a situation which had residents scampering for safety.
But speaking to journalists on Thursday, Mr Danmadami said the proponents of such agitation should immediately stop the idea.
“With effect from Wednesday, April 5, the curfew will be in place from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.”
“The exact location of the incident is yet to be ascertained, but detailed reports being awaited will clarify whether the incident occurred.”
“I have never and will never sit with Uba Sani and Nasir El-Rufai for any kind of political deal,” Mr Asake vowed.
The state government said the assistance was its response to the hardship brought about by the naira scarcity.
Mr Baba-Ahmed also disclosed that he expects the presidency to have responded decisively to the “treasonable” action of Mr El-Rufai.
