“We demand compensation for our people. Everything, every resource that comes from Niger state, must be compensated.”
Mr Umaru Bago made the announcement during the presentation of relief materials to 700 households in the state.
It will also provide opportunities to showcase innovative green technologies, best practices worldwide, and job creation.
Mr Bago said funding was one of the major problems affecting the health sector.
“This is to make the state a green hub of the nation and attract local and international guests,” he said.
Governor Umaru Bago has called on Nigerians to key into President Bola Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ for the administration’s success.
The governor pointed out that corruption was also responsible for the perennial insecurity, poverty, economic downturn and unemployment in the state.
Mr Bmitosahi gave assurance that the stakeholders would monitor the process to ensure that it was transparent.
The governor advised the union to shelve its two-day warning strike and congratulated the deputy governor on his new office.
“We intend to employ 1,500 youths into Niger forest guards so that we can take over the forests,” said Mr Bago.
