The Senate has confirmed the appointment of 11 Supreme Court justices nominated by President Bola Tinubu to fill the vacancies on the apex court bench.
After listening to the argument, the tribunal’s lead justice, Haruna Tsammani, ruled that the court would accommodate PDP’s hearing till Thursday, adding two days for the appellants.
On Friday, the presidential election petitions tribunal cautioned Akin Olujimi, President Bola Tinubu’s lawyer.
The confusion happened in the presence of Mr Obi, his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, Labour Party chairman Julius Abure and other loyalists.
“We are objecting to all except the ones listed by INEC,” said Mr Fagbemi on behalf of the APC.
“The court is not a stadium or crusade ground, it is not a theatre or circus. My lord, we are not here for a circus show.”
Mr Abubakar is challenging the outcome of the February 25 Presidential election before the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja.
